Description

Join ABC Radio Darwin’s Liz Trevaskis for a lunchtime conversation featuring some of very special Territorians who feature in the recently opened Portrait of a Senior Territorian exhibition.

This year’s exhibition celebrates 40 years of Territory self-government, and many of the subjects have been here for that entire period; some experienced both the Bombing of Darwin and Cyclone Tracy. Several the subjects are over 80 years old and are still either working or volunteering -  some with no intention of retiring.

Over an hour, you will hear some remarkable stories from lives spanning almost a century – as well as insight from the artists who have captured some of these images

Stay tuned for the announcement of the final guest list.

To attend please book online or if you are registering a group of 10 or more please email Dumitro.Natalie@abc.net.au with your numbers.

We look forward to seeing you at the Library.
