Cj Fraser-Bell and Kelly Beniforti under the stairwell
Description

Join 2018 Creative Resident Cj Fraser-Bell and collaborator Kelly Beneforti for an intimate exploration through the twists and turns of the Northern Territory Library. Discover new nooks and crannies, and visit familiar scenes with new eyes in this intimate and magical performance experiment.

The Northern Territory Library, situated in Parliament House, is a distinctive and visually arresting space with multiple floors all very different from each other. It has dramatic stairways, huge ceilings, and intimate corners. This work in progress showing will be exploring this dynamic space, and will take inspiration from the many items, stories, and people that are housed in and utilise the library. Expect surprises in this short performance tour!

Bookings are highly recommended as tickets are limited for this intimate, one-day only experience.

Due to the nature of this performance, audience members may be walking up and down stairs, please email libraryevents@nt.gov.au if you have any access requirements so the performance route can be modified.
