Description

Bang! Clang! Crash! Nanna’s in the kitchen. We’re having Barramundi tonight!

It’s Storytime! Join Larrakia Author and Artist Jason Lee as he shares his stories in an exciting musical adventure. Kids will love hearing all about catching and cooking barra, and having fun with your family.

The reading will be accompanied by beautiful new music by played by an ensemble of DSO’s musicians. There will be plenty of fun activities for everyone to enjoy!

This show is ideal for for pre-school and primary school aged children.

Jason Lee (Author and Artist):

“I hope that young readers will find joy, inspiration, and valuable lessons in the stories that may spark their imagination or convey important values such as kindness, courage, and perseverance. Ultimately, the goal is to create engaging narratives that entertain, educate, and leave a positive impact on young readers’ lives.”

Cathy Applegate (NT composer):

For ‘Catching Bait’ the music is light hearted and joyful. I like the part of the story where the bait is wriggling in the net as the boy hauls in the catch. The music wriggles at this bit too!”
