As part of the NT Writers' Festival, join Centralian author Leni Shilton for the Darwin launch of her verse novel, Walking with Camels: the Story of Bertha Strehlow. Offering us a woman’s exploration of loss and survival in a savagely beautiful landscape, Shilton's novel tells the story of Bertha Strehlow - a brilliant observer and connector of people who travelled central Australia in the early 20th century with her anthropologist husband.
