Have you been procrastinating about starting your history project?
Well, why wait any longer!

Library & Archives NT are pleased to announce that the 2020 Northern Territory History Grants are now open!
You can receive up $7,000 to help you kick start and develop your local history project. We are inviting applications from all Territorians - from the Top End to the Red Centre, from west to east - to support original research about NT history. The aim of the grants is to connect our community with the Territory’s unique and intriguing past.
Innovative proposals will be highly regarded, so you can be as creative as you like! Examples of previously funded projects include: research for radio programs, oral history interviewing, research for published material and theatre plays.
To be considered, you must satisfy the criteria for assessment and lodge your application through Grants NT. Grant guidelines and the application form can be found here.
For more information, contact Northern Territory Archives Service on 8924 7677 and/ or email us at: NTHG@nt.gov.au. Our team at Library & Archives are looking forward to hearing your ideas.
Applications close Friday 11 August.
Good Luck!
